  • Thank you for organising the accomodation at Captains Lookout. We couldn't fault the house or your support. You quickly brought more bedding when we said we were a bit cold at night and had a plumber in to fix the bath stopper in a jiffy - beyond the call of duty. The house was superb and fitted our needs perfectly. Views, location, comfort, design - we rent baches reasonable frequently and this was one of the best. Please thank the owners for making it available. We certainly hope to be back.

  • "A fantastic location with amazing views. Nice modern house with a perfect layout to share together but also has private rooms to have your own space as well." eview

  • The (this) modern house was, in every way, ideal and was even better than we had expected. My only regret was that we had to leave as quickly as we did and I want to return. Thank you to the ‘hostess’ for her warm welcome.

  • We have spent a wonderful stay in Russel and its vicinity. This house with its garden, its orchard, the birds and the animals seen in the grass, gave us a tremendous sense of joy, of happiness. The view is fabulous and calming.

  • We had a great stay at Captain's Lookout. I would highly recommend it to any of my friends. It was clean, well organized & equipped, in a great location. Your recommendations for sites to see and restaurants were terrific. Everyone should spend a day on Urupukapuka.
