Bay of Islands Holiday Homes staff are committed to the safety of all our guests, team, and visitors. We are committed to working with you to make any adjustments to your reservations, guided by the NZ Government Covid-19 Protection Framework. Our standard Terms and Conditions apply, except for the following changes:

The team is 100% committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene and protection as required by the NZ Government Covid-19 Protection Framework. The team greatly appreciates your patience and compliance as we all adjust to the new operational requirements to keep each other safe.
COVID-19 VACCINATION CERTIFICATES ARE REQUIRED FOR GUESTS 12 YEARS +
FROM 1 October 2021
NO VACCINATION CERTIFICATE = NO STAY
As per NZ Govt advice and after undertaking a site risk assessment, Bay of Islands Holiday Homes will operate a no vaccination certificate = no stay policy for all guests and visitors aged 12 years and over. This includes all visitors and event guests.
The Reservation Holder is responsible to ensure the entire group in the booking is fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and can provide the NZ Government Approved Vaccination Certificate prior to their stay. *
Children under the age of 12 at the time of their visit will not be required to show proof of vaccination.
Medical Exemption. If you are unable to get a vaccination for medical reasons, we ask where possible for you to show a negative test result gained within 72 hours of your arrival. You will also be required to show proof of your exemption.
Your honesty and co-operation will ensure that we can make the most of your stay in your chosen holiday home & in Northland in general. This policy will be strictly enforced so please do not ask for exceptions.
*We acknowledge that not everyone wishes to be vaccinated against Covid-19. However, in order to operate as safely as possible, Bay of Islands Holiday Homes is following NZ Government and Ministry Of Health advice.
From 1 December 2021 until such time that the NZ Government lifts the vaccination restrictions for hospitality providers, you will not be able to stay in our accommodation if you cannot, prior to your arrival, supply us with your vaccine certificate or proof of a negative Covid-19 test result gained within 72 hours of your arrival or proof of your medical exemption.
If you cannot comply with the above you will not be able to access your holiday home. No refunds will be given if there is a failure to comply.

During Your Stay | You may be requested by a member of the Bay of Islands Holiday team to verify your certificate.
H & S protocols during your stay | There will be a heightened cleaning regime by our staff throughout the busy holiday period in all of our Holiday Homes. Mask wearing and physical distancing will be required in communal areas like the pool house area at the Russell Cottages Collection.
