There are lots of events and fun activities for families to enjoy and experience in and around the Russell area. Take a foot ferry across to Paihia and visit the famous Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

We have local events like the very popular Russell Birdman Festival that is a real fun filled family day or sandboarding further north at Te  Paki sand dunes.
