  • Lesley Joy could not have been more helpful and efficent... We really enjoyed our stay at La Maison de Nautica, marvelous views, fantastic house, very clean and well equipped with top of the range appliances - could not have been better.

    I. Henegan - Dec, 2012

  • A gorgeous property that was perfect for my family and I - especially as we spent rather a lot of time in it sheltering from some pretty awful weather! Rooms were well appointed and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils (not something that I would usually need much use for on a weekend away but the storms meant a couple of nights with home cooking and a bottle of wine were by far the best option). Everything was first class and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Schedwardo - Mar, 2014

  • Great property, very nicely finished. The view from the lounge and deck is great and there is plenty of space for parking (3 cars). A short drive or OK walk to Long beach for a swim or Russell town for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay in this bach.

    Gowenlock - Jan, 2015

  • Booking process easy to follow and everything went smoothly. Beautiful property with stunning views. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

    P. Lunt - Jan, 2016

  • It was a pleasure dealing with Lesley and Barry. Good communication and clear instructions/info re the property. We had to make some last minute changes to our travel plans and arrival times, and they have just been super accommodating and easy about it, which we really appreciate. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Absolutely gorgeous house with stunning views! Loved the spaciousness and flow of the house - something that you can't really see from the photos. The interior is beautifully decorated and has a clean, fresh and modern feel. Heating was excellent and consisted of a wood burner fireplace and heatpump. The house is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable, relaxed stay. We will definitely recommend this property to others and hope to return again for another wonderful stay.

Van der Meer - Jul, 2017

  • “The home is lovely. It feels homely, is spacious, and has wonderful views. It was great for us being a kilometre away from the main part of Russell, giving us an easy walk into town and its amenities while living in a quiet part of the town. The neighbours are friendly and welcoming, and we were given fresh herbs and vegetables from their gardens. Lots of many different types of birds, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the light change during the day.”

David and family - Dec, 2017

  • Lesley was amazing, so great to deal with, so so helpful from providing good tips on where to go and eat to helping show us the bach when we arrived. As well as sorting out delivery of things we left behind! Wonderful property, beautiful views, a lovely place to stay. Easy walking access to town.
