Blue Penguin Cottage is a modern 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom holiday home, set in the grounds of Russell Cottages complex in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

Only a 3.5 hour drive from Auckland and an easy 2-minute stroll to Russell waterfront, shops and cafes. This lovely holiday rental is your perfect Northland getaway and your family and friends will love the complimentary access to the complex's shared facilities, including a heated pool, hot tub, BBQ area and children's playground.

The cottage has been built from a traditional timber weatherboard. The interior features solid timber floors in the living area, quality carpet in the upstairs area, raked ceilings and is fully appointed to a very high standard.

The Space

• The living and dining area is open plan with French doors leading out onto a sunny deck and a private garden with outdoor furniture.
• The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and has basic essentials such as coffee, tea, cereal, salt, pepper and oil.
• Master super-king bedroom with ensuite bathroom and shower.
• Laundry with washing machine and dryer.

UPSTAIRS BEDROOM OPTIONS

• Super-king bedroom with ensuite and shower.
• Queen bedroom.
• Twin bedroom with 2x single beds.
• Bathroom with bathtub/shower.

INCLUDED

• Pool towels supplied.

• High chair and porta cot rental available for an additional fee, this includes linen.
• Parking for 2x cars.

SHARED FACILITIES

• Pool is available for all guests.
• Spa Pool - Please book a time slot to use the spa after check-in. There is a register in the pool house.
• BBQ's are at the pool house. Please book a time slot to use these after check-in. There is a register in the pool house.
• Boat parking - There are 2x parks for boats next to Cottage 11, max 6m length. This parking cannot be booked. It is first-come, first-served.

Guest Access

You will be the only guests in the cottage, irrespective of the rooms booked. Please note that the Pool, Spa and BBQ's are shared with other Cottages.

You have two designated car parks right in front of the Cottage.

Other things to note

Bookings that do not meet the minimum night stay requirement will be charged a short stay, service fee and linen rental fee.

As the Russell Cottages are a peaceful, family environment, no large gatherings, parties or loud music are permitted. If complaints are received from neighbouring cottages an instant fine may be issued and you may be evicted from the premises.
