Rusty Snapper Bach is a cute, three bedroom holiday home located in serene Matauwhi Bay, Russell. The house is only short, 350m stroll down to the foreshore or just over a 1km walk into the main heart of Russell historic village, where you can discover the local shops, restaurants and waterfront where lots of activity happens.
There are three bedrooms; one queen bedroom, one double bedroom and a single bedroom that has an additional trundle bed under it to make two single beds.
The bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet. There is a front-loader, Bosch washing machine and an outdoor clothesline.
The open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the view over Matauwhi Bay as you watch the little ones playing in the grassed front yard.

Special Conditions
- The nightly rate includes use of the full house.
- Cleaning and linen are charged for the full house and will be added at the time of booking. Please contact us if you require fewer bedrooms to be made up.
- For your comfort, the house is pet-free and is a non-smoking property.
- High chair and porta cot hire are available on request ($25 for a high chair or porta cot per stay, including linen or $40 for both).
- Booking fee is $100 and a 3.5% credit card fee applies.
- No gathering/parties or unauthorised/additional persons staying at the property. This will breach the rental conditions and you may be asked to depart the property. Our general Terms & Conditions apply.

The holiday home had a fantastic view and also offered everything we could wish for like swimming, day trips and restaurants. The Rusty Snapper is great place stay, a little way from the main town of Russell (easy walk of 1ish kms). Views to the water and native birds all around. Well stock kitchen with the essentials when we visited and the team and BOI Holiday Homes were very helpful and communicative. Would definitely come back.

Donna met us at the property, showed us around and made herself very much available to us if we needed any help. I personally loved the location, as a local, because from the extreme left of the balcony I could see the Russell Boating Club, which our father was a founding member of, not forgetting the sight of all those predominantly white-hulled boats swinging, north, east, south and west according to wind and/or tide. Leo and I were in serious recovery mode following a 5 night camp on Motuihe, extending from 3 days before to 4 days afterwards with all the equipment, centre-boarder logistics, therefore we enjoyed the relative quiet.
